I just bought a revo 2.5 that has a 3.3 motor on it. The motor was bad so i have to replace it what do yall suggest just buying a new revo 3.3 motor or does anybody have any aftermarket brands that are good. I dnt really wanna spend a whole lot but I'm up for ideas. Where is a good place to buy the motor from also. Thanks for any help I'm new to all this so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
Traxxas does what they call a "Power Up" program where they will take the old engine, in basically any condition and sell you a new engine for 125 + shipping. It all depends on what you want to do with the truck really
 
you can get one off ebay for the same price traxxas sells them on the power up program ..if not cheaper .....and you get to keep your old one for parts ;)
 
Traxxas power up plan is pretty affordable, and you send your motor in they may find it was defective, and send you a new one. Then you'll have a spare motor. That's how I got my spare.
