I'm looking at putting a new motor in my revo and I'm leaning towards the picco .26 maxx as I'm looking for more torque, do you guys think this is a good option or another motor. Also what other parts would I need to upgrade?

For a fairly low price the max is a good option id rather put the red dot myself tho but thats just bc i have a picco max and havnt yet owned a red dot in my experience tho where i live the picco has been a great motor and holds a tune well no telling how many gallons are on mine I've put 5 thru mine and it was used when i got it so idk how many the dude b4 me put threw it. I would deff put some rmp arms on it if your just a basher true track rear end would be a good upgrade. The trx push rods are a good upgrade to

I ran a Picco .26 Maxx in mine and the only upgrade to the driveline I had was the center diff/rear brake set up thst I was already running. I would recommend going with the FOC mod to keep from shelling the tranny.

The Picco has plenty of grunt if you use a good pipe. I used an old Trinity pipe and had problems keeping the front end planted.

+1 on the picco jsut make sure you have a good exhaust on it if you want to see the engines full potential and i would upgrade as you break stuff

I run a Lrp spec 3 in my revo, its a .28 and all I've had to upgrade is the clutch. You'll definitely need new gearing, I'm using 17/36, and I have an ofna 053 pipe. With the stock tires, I couldn't keep the front end down. Now I have proline road rages, and they spin instead of flipping the truck over. The spec 3 has crazy torque, plenty to spare. It's almost scary to drive. ;)

I still have revese in my truck, but anything over 1/4 throttle usually destroys the gear, but sometimes I can grind my front bumper down the entire street in a reverse wheely. :)
