Okay here goes, i am new to this site and have a few questions. I have a t maxx which is completly upgraded to all aluminum parts . Mostly UE, Hardcore, ACNCM and even a few integy parts- battery and reciever box and servo mounts lol)

The tranny case and the 1st and 2nd speed gears inside are the only non aluminum parts on the WHOLE truck.

My drive train:
All my cvds and drive cups are titanium (UE) and and my diffs are the UE supermaxx 6 spyders. Inside my tranny i have the supermaxx input gears and RRP Primary gear (or other wise known as the FOC) My spur gear is the RRP Double Disc Slipper

My truck is set up to be a basher. Like i said everything is alumminum or titanium and i dont think there is anything that could break. now that you know my truck time for the questions:

Who makes 1st and 2 speed gears for the tranny, i can't find them anywhere (and UE doesn't make them)

And as of right now my truck doesn't have an engine...I had a siro .23 in it but i just put that into my nitro rustler = ) can u say crazy fast.........

So i was looking for some ideas, i dont want anything crazy like the thunder tiger .70 but somthing modest like the .32 collari would be cool i think. I just need some feedback on some popular engines the arnt hella expensive (i just need a long lasting Big Block that doesn't need hours of tuning before each run, i have only tuned about 4 engines by myslef so i can't say i am the best)

I'd say loose the aluminum arms before they break something else....and try the OS .30......but if you want long lasting then llook at a modded .21...the larger block mills are known to snap conrods...I forget which company did it but there's one now that claims to have a new conrod design for bigger block engines...supposedly it really works

As far as I know, there was only one company awhile back, making those gears out of steel. I think the company was OTB ... Here's a link to an old post I made, when my tranny self destructed.. Still used the few plastic gears that I couldn't find.. Everything else was steel, with Boca green seals and an Al. tranny case..

your looking for a new motor for your maxx right?

you should try the picco .26 by ofna, it has crazzy power and speed. one tip if you get a picco you will need to upgrade your diff to hardin steel .

are u saying that my UE diffs wont hold up if i get a ofna .26??? does it really have that much power. Is that engine reliable and easy to tune?

And the otb gears arnt made any more = ( I already tried to look for them before this post. I can't even find them on ebay.......

Yep OTB makes the aluminum first and second gears ( i have a set installed in my maxx tranny). They are pricey, but if they hold up, i guess they are worth it.
