You could try the new K5.9 that goes in the new Savage XL... I'm pretty sure it'll fit but you may have to ask your LHS to check one out when they get one in. Other than that, almost any big block engine will fit with the right parts and some adjusting.

You could try this one if you want lots of power, it's from OFNA. http://ofna.com/eng-force-32.php

I run the LRP Z.28r So far with out spending over $300 it is the strongest engine I have found. In my Savage XSS I have chalked up SEVERAL of the normal OS.30s a Tamyia .32....the list goes on. With the 3 speed it is in the 50-55 MPH range in a big open area. However expect to buy center CVDs for it because it will twist the center dog bones in half.....oh yeah!

well i just bought a new axial .28. i heard good things about it hopefully there true.

Once the K5.9 comes out and goes down to a stable price (and my F4.1 wears out), I'm all over one. I've had zero problems with HPI's engines. They're extremely reliable. Altho, that LRP 28 has some pretty great reviews on it too...

You will hear good and bad. I have had two of them and only had problems with one recently. I am totally sold on LRP though......uncaged animals. For the price I don't know of another engine unless you send $300+ that will come close to it in power.
