between the .25 and .21 are there any chasis diffrences?

Also what are the biggest problems you have had with the truck(which model)?
There are literally dozens of engines that fir that criteria. Check this and see specifically what you might want and you can get feedback that way. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0093p?&C=GCT

Personally I would suggest to go with the 25RTR, the primered tank is a bitch and it comes with a three shoe clutch and flywheel plus it comes with better gearing for your new high horsepowered mill. Plus the 25 mill will retail for more on fleebay if you decide to sell it. I dunno I just see more value in the 25RTR than I do see in buying the 21RTR.

thanx. And besides i lokked and can't find the .21(did not look that hard)

Well I bought a 21 originally and at the same time the 25 was out. The money I spent on my truck to make it have the things that a 25RTR comes with was just foolish. That's just my opinion.

About the only place you will find the Savage .21 is on eBay.

A few more questions to you savage owners. I have herd/read that there are problems with the diffs and throttle linkage. The diffs i know to just change to the spider mod set up.
But the throttle linkage???

On my maxx i ripped my ez start out(it was crap, or at least i thought, every time i wanted to drive my truck A. the battery was dead or B. the ez start computer thought there was something wrong with my truck) Back to the subject should i or shouldnt take the roto start out off my savage?

I've heard the Rotostart is good for eating one way bearings but I've never used one so I don't know from experience. The diff mod is pretty straight forward. The throttle linkage is pretty simple too. It's basically just a T-Maxx 2.5 linkage thats bent to clear the TVP's on the Savage and a couple of Ofna sliders.I could snap some shots of mine if you need a visual.

Here's a few shots of the linkage. The hardest part is getting the rod bent right.
