Good eyes! And thank you for the compliment on my system. You got it all right except the cables, which are made by MIT.

The Tube amps are hand made by the owner of TS Audio. All point-to-point hand wired and he even makes the transformers by hand. The sound is out of this world. Blows my Krell out of the water and that’s saying something.
The smaller speakers next to the Martin Logans are Triangle Comets. They would be a great example for
Johnbrumbaugh:
who posted early about bose 901 of what can be had for much less cost than Bose speakers but which will sound dramatically better. Bose put most of their money into advertisement not the products.
I have heard a few pairs of Bose 901 but would not recommend them. Instead focus on a pair of small bookshelf size speakers that you can put on stands. Make sure they are both sensitive and efficient (not the same thing).
That will make sure you can buy the best sounding amp and not have to get the biggest muscle amp. Kinda like a light car with an efficient transmission and a great little race engine will beat a monster truck with a big block. You are looking for speed and articulation. I would highly recommend speakers made by Triangle.
Now if you have a little more (much more) money and space for your speakers, the martin logan speakers speak for themselves. They are just awesome in every way.
Crunch: What is the name of your tube amps? I think integrated amps can be a great way to save cost and simplify your system while still getting fantastic sound. If you do sell that amp, then I advise the next one you buy to be another integrated but using better sounding tubes such as 300b. I import Tube stereo equipment all hand made from TS Audio. I’m the only authorized dealer in the USA. I have integrated using the kt-88 tubes but much prefer the lower powered but better sounding 300b tubes. You give up power for quality. But its ok if you have speakers that are easy to drive. Remember sensitivity and efficiency and you can’t go wrong.
But lets get back to RC cars,
Revo Rancher: Thank you for the fuel and plugs info. Yes, that MC-59 is a bad match. The best I have learned about so far are the Traxxas super duty long, DuraTrax LR3 Long, and the O.S. LC3 Long which I think is the same plug but with a higher price. All three will work perfectly. Remember you need a long plug with medium heat not a medium plug. You will lose compression and power with a medium length plug.
Also, regarding the fail safe. It goes between the optidrive and the servo. Make sure not to install it between the receiver and the optidrive. That would probably account for the problem you were having. Please check and let us know.
