I have the original tmaxx pro 15. I'm getting a new engine for the spring and am planning on the OS .18. Reason for the posting is I just found a brand new HPI Rs4 3.0 engine for half of the price of the os engine. Will this fit in my truck or would I be wasting my time?

It looks like a rotary carb and exahaust is in the same spot.
 
Yes it will fit. The HPI will be a little lower on power but still better than the .15 I don't know what price you're looking at,but I have a new 3.0 HPI engine for sale too. I'd take $65 shipped for it. If you're interested hit me with a PM.
 
So the os will give me more power? I want to start doing wheelies on command. For the picco will I have to upgrade the drive train? This engine is just to make me happy till I buy a new rig this summer. So I'm trying not to upgrade to much on the old maxx. After the new rig this truck will be for my boys to play with.
