I said there are a list of .15 that are badass that you can legally race roar. When did I ever say anything about modified? You can run modifieds in the .15 open class as I understand it though. You guys just told him you can only race .12 in
ROAR and thats not true. Do you see that RB I posted? That is ROAR legal to run in 1/10 Off-Road and that is not a "stock engine".
humboldt - i need to do some research to be sure - but i think that the engine u posted is NOT legal to race in a roar event except for the modified or open class. from what i remember, the only .15's that u can race, are stock rtr mills.
I gaurantee you NA that you can run .15's now. It was a brand new rule that everyone pushed for and was added to the rules for the 2003 racing season. Norrca also now accepts the .15 if I remember right.
Ok this is NORRCA .15 engine rules:
.15 Class Specifications
Max. Displacement = 0.152 cid (cubic inch displacement)
humboldt - i just looked at my ROAR book , which is the 2003 issue. It states that NO .15 engines may be used i the 1/10 Fuel off road, and off road truck classes. This is annotated on pg 52 and pg 53. ROAR has updated the book to include a .15 class that is not designated as "open" but u cannot run .12's in it, it is .15 exclusively, and it is for ON ROAD ONLY.
Well I don't have to book so I must be wrong. I was just taking the information from ROAR's website. There was and issue on RCCA that had a list of all the new legal .15 off-road engines so it must be a huge misprint or I read it wrong.
here we go reading something into my post that is not there. I am not pissed nor aggrivated. What in my statement makes you think I am being hostile? You guys just see me as someone sitting behind my PC all pissed all the time when that is not the case. I said you were right because I would trust the offical rule book over my sources so I conceed to you being right. Does that make me made when I am wrong? Hell no it means I learned something so thank you for setting me straight.:cheerful:
