getting a hpi 4.6 engine but not sure.

You should try looking into the STS line. they are in your budget.

BTW Bump start is either a starterbox or the hand held bump starter method.

I think the 4.6 is a good engine, you can usually find a new one for around $150 on eBay. Is there a bump start that will work on a Savage?

Have one myself and is a real powerhouse when tuned right.
