ok so i just got the O.S. cv-rx and its acting wierd. I've never had this problem with any other new engine. It takes a very long time to finally get it started and when it does start, the second i touch the throttle the engine cuts off then i can't get it started again. i dont know if its because its a brand new engine or what. please help.

i had the same problem make sure the engine is not flooded then test the glow plug if needed and let it warm up if i hit the gas mine will die too so give it time to warm up

It's cold outside. Preheat it to at least 150F with a hairdryer, heat gun if you have one.
Lean the LSN 1/8th turn in and fire it up. Heat makes all the difference in the world with new engines. 2- strokes HATE to be cold.

Ok so i did that and it started right up. now it feels like its going way to slow. I dont know if its because its new or not but it wont accelerate.

Slowly lean it and wait a few minutes between adjustments. 180-200F is ideal for weather this cool. You may see temps as high as 250 though. If it does get that hot, shut it off and let it cool.
Raw fuel, little smoke, slow movement=rich....lean it until it just pulls along nicely.

Ok so it just stopped raining so i went out to try to start it so i can tune it and it wont start but its something different now. Everytime i pull the pullstart there is A LOT of raw fuel coming out the pipe. I havent changed any settings from last time i started it.

It's flooded. Take the plug out and turn it upside down. Pull the rope until it's cleared completely out. Let it sit with the plug out for a half an hour or so. Then try it.

I am getting really frustrated. i have done everything you guys have told me to do yet i still can't get it started. I have no clue what to do. Its not even trying to start. i need help

Nitro engines can be frustrating but don't give up.
Scrogg and Metalhead have given you good advice in response to your posts.

Since it was flooded, your glo-plug may be messed up.
Replace that - make sure your igniter is fully charged or has new batteries and try it again.

BTW - When you leaned it, you screwed the HSN in (clockwise) - right?
How much have you leaned it so far?
An 1/8th, a 1/4, or 1/2 or ? of a turn?

I changed the glowplug and the ignitor is charged. I would say so far I only leaned it about half a turn. But after about two hours of messing around with it I finally got it started but only got to run it for about a minute cuz it was pretty late. I'll try again tomorrow and see if it will start. I'll let u know if I get it running

I don't know what I did but whatever it was it worked. It's running I broke it in and it screams thank you guys for all your help
