Well I've had my revo seince febuary and the engine went out on me, as in needed a new piston and sleeve. Well I wanted a little more omph but nothing that I was going to have a hard time taking off w/o doing wheelies. i settled on the OS 21 and ordered it from my LHS with $250 to start.

Oh yea and umm why does it seem like everyone hates the EZ Start system?

my ez start fried the wand then i borrowed my friends and it worked fine a few times and then i fried his.I'm goin w/pullstart from now to keep it simple.I'm gettin ready to put a .21 picco in my t-maxx should be here tomorrow,so good luck to both of us.

There are a few people running the OS 21 in their Revo's, I think that's about the biggest engine you want to put on one and still have control of the rig.

The EZ Start system is great, but if you race you can lose weight on the rig by getting rid of it. And you lose the wand, which is the biggest plus IMO. I'd much rather carry around an igniter versus the wand and use a pull or bump start.

Sweet

For sure. Tell me how is goes, like power gains ect. I guess it should have about the same amount of power as the os, being the same size and all, but I don't know never delt with an aftermarket engine b4.

Sweet that is what I was going for was control but moderate power gains. I'm still pretty much a basher, don't race much, but I like to be able to keep the truck on a leash and not have to worry about putting it on its back if i get a little to greedy with the trigger.

Os 21

I've got an OS21tm in my revo, it holds it's tune much much better than the 3.3. plenty of power still wheelies on occasion but you can fix that with a center diff. vids of my revo are posted on the forum if you want to check them out. good luck enjoy the motor . Also did the engine come with the revo manifold? mine was 280 with the manifold and unfortunately with an OS it is a funny size right between small and big block so you will need it.

Sweet

Yes I did get the engine with the correct manifold, LHS sqared me away on it... any way I deffinatly won't mind the occasional wheelie, and I know that I will enjoy the power boost! can't wait till thursday time drags when I'm waiting on parts
