RC Driving Style
Just traded for an e maxx, Whats some good motors for this truck and is brushless the best way for torque and speed?

Any upgrades that need to be done b4 bashing the truck?
 
Anything RPM that will work on a E-Maxx is the way to go. arms are the first things you should get.
the Novak Brushless is nice and has great speed and torque if you have the $$$
and some good battery packs
 
i read about another brand of brushless systems started w/ a f (feigrieo) 9L or something. Are these any better?
 
I have never heard of that one. the Novak HV is supposed to make a E go as fast as the T maxx. I have seen the resultes in a mag, and have witnessed it first hand it is fast.
 
get new drive shafts.. the emaxx is all torqe and snaps drive shafts like smurf legs.. get cvd's
 
The sphere and neo one esc, brushless set up. I would do alu bulkheads, everything rpm, beef up the tranny(rrp), and MIP CVD's.
 
I have the cvds, rpm front tower, locker in the rear, aluminum skips, wheel hexs and chassis brace.

Whats rrp, a slipper?
 
Aluminum Front bulk heads are a must on any maxx truck.

Make damn sure that slipper is right, or, like beason said.... bye bye drive shafts
 
Do yall suggest 40 series tires or should I settle with the maxx size
 
I wouldn't go 40 series... reason being that there is not too much cushion there to protect the wheels, steering blocks, arms, ect. Also it strains the drivetrain more than the regular size.

I always stick to the stock size.
 
well tell me how your emaxx is. I'm thinking bout getting one so when my savage is broken, out of nitro, etc. i can drive it. it wuld be fun to drive it down the stair case too.
 
what? Does it explain that in the emaxx instructions? I Might Be getting One. Shouldnt it already be set right. plz help me and explain it...PM me Or post on this thread eather way works...Manual? So You Shift It When You Want??? I'm confused

okay i kinda understand now (i went to traxxas.com). How Do you Make Sure That The Slipper Is set Right? thats tight you choose when to shift!

I finally recieved my e maxx today, put my reciever on with 2 3000 mah trinity paks and who this truck wheelies like crazy.

I did not set anything up except the evx for my mx-3

One problem, actually two, anyways I was running my truck wot on fresh packs and BAM missied the jump and hit the curb dead on flipping the truck upside down, turned it over and no go. the sering worked and the ec lit up grenn with throttle and blink with brake but no power, then after a minute it just started going again and the paks were dead, kinda weird I thought they were fully charged i hit the curb then they were dead. What happened?

My charger also sux, its a pro max black widow pro , so I chunked it and ordered a superbrain 969.

Whats up with my truck?
 
Dude I'm not sure. but Whats All This Talk About The Slipper Being Set Right? Shouldnt It Already Be Set Right. How Do You Know If Its Set Right And How do You Set It Right?

I'm Getting Mine Thursday!
 
yeah i am thinking about ordering one, i have had electric minis since the mini t came out and i had helis, so the duel motors is new to me. How does the speed and total performance compare to the tmaxx. I had one of those but relized i really enjoy electric alot more, so to any one out there how do the tmaxx and emaxx compare. thanks for the help
