my engine is a HPI F4.6 my spare`s engine is a ansmann AR .28

ok i made a thread a couple of days ago showing what happened

https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99344

well on sunday i picked up my spare engine that i was going to use from a friend ( no dice had a nice hole in crank case ) but other than that the parts were perfect,

well after stripping the spare engine down as it was used only 5 times i noticed the crank shaft was a perfect fit ( identical to the one in my HPI engine ) so i took out the broken one from my F4.6 and fitted the downer crankshaft, it fitted perfectly,

after replacing the crank shaft i can't start the engine everything is moving freely and smoothly my tune is set back to stock but still no dice,

today i switched the piston sleeve as it was in perfect condition as said only ran 5 times and well it was time to replace it and it still would not start altho i do have better compression with the downer sleeve,

i know some of you will say what do i expect the downer engine is from a different manufacturer but like i said the parts are identical,

my glow charger is fully charged i checked it with all my plugs and there glowing as they should, its the same symptoms as when my clutch springs were 2 soft it seems to want to start but wont i even tried with the clutch bell off and still no go,

also how do i remove the bearings from a crank case,

and I'm thinking of changing from a .28 to a .21 for longer run time what would be good to run a ansmann kryptonite

parts should be the same there just re branded force engines

Bearing removal is easy - heat the block up (remove ALL other assemblies that you can) to around 275 degrees and use a deepwell socket and hammer and slowly tap the bearing until it falls out. It may take a couple of tries but will work. When reinstalling freeze the bearing and heat the crankcase again. The cold bearing should drop right into the crankcase with little to no effort.

Now that said you realize your using parts from a different mfr and those parts are coming from a block that had a hole in the crankcase? Chances are some (if not all) of the parts your trying to use are fubarred and probably contributing to your car not running. Have you looked at schematics to compare part #'s of both to ensure they are exactly the same as each other? Looking the same and bieng the same are 2 completely different things in this hobby. Good luck and I hope you get her runnin!
