hey again. i had a thread yesterday asking if the gpm chassis is any good. i got one reply saying that its not too good and another saying its alright. so what do you guys think is a good chassis. here is the whole story.
i havent driven my savage in a while so when i went over to my friends house, i brought my savage cause he is pretty good with tuning things and stuff like that. so i get there, he tunes my savage, i get it going, it is going really fast and burning out on the asphalt like its nothing. its the hyper .21 8port by the way. so i call my cousin to come over cause he has a hpi rs4 mt. so i get my car running but it wont stay running so my friend says just to put the needles back to stock settings. so i do that. and it wont start. so my friend and my cousin go to a school nearby and i go without my savage. i want to use it so i go back to his house and figure out that the carb is stuck. it wont move at all. so i bring my savage to the school and my friend busted his rear diff. so we trade engines cause i needed an engine and i put the engine in(its the stock .21 that i sold to him when i got my hyper) my savage is going great getting really fast doin good. then its almost the end of the day so my cousin brings his car in and I'm still driving mine. he comes back out and asks to drive mine and i let him cause he has his own and knows how to drive them. he lives in a court and he tried to drive like outside the court and loses frequency, almost gets ran over by a car, and goes WOT into a curb. the engine is still going really loud when i get there becasue the pipe slipped off. i turn it off and dont see any damage until i turn it over. the chassis plates were bent to hell! so he says he will pay for whatever i need. so my question is, whats a good chassis? sorry for the very long thread. thanks.
