Hey to all. Been looking into getting a new body for my Tmaxx. Found one I like and plan to get it. One question I have is everywhere I've read you need to cut out the front and rear windows for airflow, which makes sense, but Id rather not.

Would cutting the side windows (both) and a smaller hole in the back window work as well? The body I plan to use will have a large portion of the cooling head sticking out threw it, haft or more. The truck will not be used for racing just backyard bashing.

i always left my windows intact and just cut out a large hole above the actual engine. i even ran a lexus body. :D

:hehe:

Yea plan to get a Proline 2008 F250 body. Actually use to drive a 350 and drive a 450 for work so I guess I'm bias. Thought it would still look pretty normal if I cut out the side windows and rear slider.

It will "work" however you would typically want the air to come at the head from the front vs the side window. I have also cut away parts of the front bumper area to give a good flow down low on the head vs up high. You can run either way just watch your temps and adjust accordingly.
