Thats a big filter for a .15:) If you have More air flow, it will require a richer tune.
You probably will not see to drastic of a change on the .15

yeah it does seem big i guess. I have read that ppl really like them on the .15 so why not try it! Also, I took my stock air filter off to clean it and a piece of grass was sitting in the carb. wasn't too crazy about that so switching it up.

Ofna air filter installed - custom intake tube

I installed the air filter today and decided to move it to the front due to clearance issues in the back. What do you guys think?

Looks nice actually, is that 1/2 copper? First time i've seen it done that way. You might be able to get a hose clamp small enough for the filter side to ensure a good seal

i like it!

only thing i see is copper conducts heat insanly well and idk if it will matter but if it heats up it may make the engine run funky.

just kinda takin knowlege of running my 1:1 you want the cold air to get the most power.

just my 2 cents

I dont think it will, he still uses the rubber tube that does the 90 to front, will probably insulate from any heat

alright thanks.

in reality it probley wont get that hot because reallly the motor get hot but not THAT hot to really makes a diffrence and with the air blowing around it and threw it, it shouldnt be a problem.

thanks for the compliments!

Steelcitynitro: I think it is 3/8 Type K copper tubing. I might actually change it because the inside diameter may be too small.

yeah the tube is too small. Looking for something with a bigger inside diameter to fit over the air filter outlet instead of inside. I actually went back to stock and attached the filter back to the 90 degree elbow. might leave it like that
