i have been reading these messages to give me the best ideas possible and they have helped. i bought the integy resovoir shocks instead of the hot bodies because of the shaft problems.
but this time i went out on a limb, today(april, 16) i went to the lhs and bought the 1 piece ths pipe and the hpi dual stainless brake kit.(with the dual kit you better take all your brake adjustment out or you will do front flips but it kicks ass.. the ths pipe compared to the hot bodies is no difference but it is less quiet and there were no extreme changes in adjustments between the two pipes. i appreciate you guys with all your feedback on hop-ups and add-ons and keep up the good work.

peace out

Tofas welcome to RCNT. I'm a little surprised there was no actual performance difference with the THS pipe. Did you check the temps on the motor after you installed the pipe. If it is a little louder chances are that it might be breathing easier thus letting you be able to change the fuel mixture mabye even leaning out the motor just a little bit. Anyways just a thought. If you have a temp gun check to see if the temps have changed and see if it is a possibility to re tune and gain some performance.

there is some tuning left in it. but it was ok for bashing at the time . i would say the temps came down 40 deg. sorry for not adding this info earlier, have you upgraded your brakes.

Tofas if the temps came down that is good, that is real good as I suspected the pipe is allowing the engine to breathe easier. You should re tune and should see a great performance difference. As for the brakes yeah I have upgraded to the HPI dual disc conversion and friggin love it. Stops on a dime. I did set my brake linkage a little bit loose for two reasons if it's too tight when applying they will flip the truck and well with my picco it wheelies and flips when getting on the throttle, don't need it flipping on stopping as well. It will also allow the pads to last a little longer. Later.
