broke in 2.5r in like rolex said ran 5 tanks, then was trying to set carb, thought it had killer power, started first or second crank, leaned out half turn [hsn] then would die every time it shifted into second [ have shift point adj. low] would bog out and burn plug, is it still to rich [temp 204 at highest], could realy use some advise!!!!:\

It sounds like it's running way too lean. Richen it up until it can't shift (probably about 5-7 turns out), and then lean it out from there. Make sure that it always has smoke from the exhaust, and if it begins to lose power then you have gone too lean. Your 204 temperature doesn't mean much, because it doesn't sound like it was running long enough to get up to normal running temperatures. Always remember that you can't tune it on temperature alone.

Richen it up as said above...

Also try a new plug, theres plenty of options, The OS LC3 hot plug is one of my favorites... Great idle and long lasting...
