It is so quiet compared to my stock ribbed aluminum pipe. Almost sounds like an electric. I've noticed a slight increase in low end, but I'm not done trying to tune it. So far I am very happy with it, and so are my pain in the @ss neighbors! I'll do some test this weekend with my Rat Shack sound level meter between this one and the stock.

There are other pipes out there on ebay which look the same for about half the price. I didn't see those when I got mine, but I'm sure they are just as good as reducing the noise level.

my Neighbors complained too. soooo i ran my truck full throttle at 10 in the morning :hammer:

maybe you should give them your receipt and ask if they would pay for that exhaust.

i know i wont buy an extra exhaust just because my neihbors are whining.

I would, just becasue I like buying hop-ups:D

Cool exhasut sweetdiesel, I like the Tsais exhasuts.

I really don't care what my neighbors think of the nitro noise. I pay to live in my apt. complex as much as anyone else does who has loud screaming kids. Besides, the landscrapers push around their mowers and blowers at 8am and those things tend to be louder than me playing around for 30 minutes during a decent time of day.

True, when it comes to lawnmowers and leaf blowers its ok, but when it comes to a "toy" its not.

It pissed me off when they complained, especially since I never run the truck after 7 PM and always wait until at least noon on the weekends. I never complain when my neighbors work on their house and have their power saws running outside all weekend. But 60 bucks is nothing compared to having to deal with j@ck off neighbors complaining all the time. I bought this truck to have fun and de-stress, not to argue with my neighbors to justify why I can or can't run my truck. I also take into account that some of my neighbors work the night shift and the noise is just too much for them.

If you're running between 12-7, I don't think they have a real reason to complain that much. Those should be fine times to run.

Nice purchase. I would also be intersted in hearing about the sound level difference. I have always been conscious about the level of my nitro RCs. I've never received a complaint but the level of the sound is always in the back of my mind. Most of the time I just draw a crowd and some questions.

Santa Clara County has a very strict noise ordinance, it is unlawful to operate most anything that generates greater than 55 db (which is about the amount of noise during a normal conversation) for more than a half hour. I know even with my TSAIS pipe it is above that but at least it is now tolerable to others.

The noise policy specifically defines the powered models that are effected, which is pretty much anything with an engine.

I get out early from work on Wed. Perfect day to do some testing. I'll do some without the pipe at all also just for kicks.

my neighbors can suck my balls...lmao however i do respect them and try to run mine all the time mostly after hours and early morning

that sux about yer noice ordinance. Personally I think noon-7 is extremely considerate of you. I say good call overall though, a little extra cash spent is better than listening to grown up whine.

whine whine whine is all I hear when I run mine. Oh well most of my neighbors throw parties till late so I I enjoy pissin them off when I do drive at home.lol

Just tell them its your religion and this is how you worship.
In this day and age of political correctness it should shut them up for a while. Just dont forget to kneel on your shop towel, face north and bow to your TX before you put everything away.

hi, i have the Hpi Ribbed pipe, i was wondering how much quieter the TSAIS pipes were. i want more of a softer/deeper sound not a high pitched one. help thank~
