Mugen.. :)

Heh, seriously, since you're not considering the World Champion car as an option, either the k3 or mp777 are race-worthy.. The 777 does have some cool new features, but if it was me, I couldn't justify the additions (many cosmetic) for the price, and would go for the k3. The mp777 Special edition is EXPENSIVE, and the k3 should be coming down as these new models are out..

well just to let you know from the supplyer that i am getting my buggy from the K3 and MP777 special edition is the same price so it has come down to features and personal opinion

well, I don't know much about buggys but if you're gonna pay the same for either then go with the 777. There's a side by side comparison of the two in the new radio control car action mag

K3for the cheaper price, but if you whant my honest opinion, Thunder Tiger.

if you're spending that much on your rc's, then you may as well get the latest, which in this case would be the 777

Hey Powder_King,

I owned a Kanai 3 and it's one awsome buggy! I sold it with the idea of buying a Special 1, but I heard that there will also be a Kanai version comming soon! I am glad that I decided to wait, because my buddy got a Special and he's not too happy! I would look at a MBX-5, you can pick up a new one pretty cheap now. The benefit is you can upgrade in time to a PROSPEC and there's nothing currently in the works on replacing the MBX-5's.

K3.... then look at the MBX-5 and new Thunder Tiger.

But to be honest, unless you plan on racing theres no NEED for one of those buggies. I mean, if you want one anyway thats a diff story but there are some very nice tough buggies out there for much cheaper. (GS Storm pro, Ofna Hyper PCS(?PCR?), XTM X-Terminator, HB Lightning pro, etc etc...

The hiugh end buggies will easily cost over $1000 and with hopups you lookst at $1500 just to put it together. The other brands I mentioned are all in and around the $500 mark with engines. Some even come RTR with engine AND Radio.

Hey Powder King,

I heard this threw a Kyosho distributor, he said there will something out by the end of the year. There will be alot of new buggies on the road at that time. Storm Pro 2, Swift Pro, EB4 SR3, XB8,Trinity and a new RS01 too many!!

well i am planning on racing as soon as i get out of the yukon in a year. plus i wont be able to run it till march or april. Also i have radio and equipment and the entire package is going to cost 1500 canadian for me. Lots of the buggies u have listed cost close to the same as the 777. The ones without engines and equipment and such. The 777 or k3 cost me 950 canadian.
