The Nitro Quake tires I put on my maximizer wheels are not working out too well. I'd like to replace them but don't knowwhat to get. I like the HPI tires that come factory on the savage and have looked at the Imex. I need some to fit the maximizer wheels but would rather not have a low profile style tire. I could go with Proline but then I'd have to buy special bead rings for the wheels. What makes of tires will fit a standar Savage size wheel?
It sucks because the Nitro Quake tires are nice but not when they shake the whole truck like a blender.
I'd appreciate hearing escpecially from anyone using the Maximizer Beadlock wheels.
Thanks

Just general bashing tires but I don't really want a low profile tire. I do want somethig with an aggresive tread pattern and like the Savage tire tread and the Imex Claw Dogs. Basically, I guess what I'm saying is I want MONTER TRUCK tires. I'm not concerned about race quality handling on a prepaired track.

I may have found a solution to my problem. The factory Savage tires were still in real good condition so I decided to try swapping tires on wheels. I baked the Savage tires for an hour at 250 degrees F in the oven and it released the glue very well. The wife will not be happy that her over smells like rubber but then S$#T happens. The Beadlock wheels fit great on the factory tires and the Nitro Quake tires go on the Savage wheels a bit better than the beadlocks (not much but a bit). I have no idea if the Quake tires will spin true but I don't have much to lose because I intend to use the beadlock wheels and the savage tires anyway. If the others work reasonably well they can be used for backup (one wheel has the hub JB welded in it from spinning.
I'd still like to haer what tires people are using with beadlocks.

I'm using the proline mashers with the X-75 set of beadlocks. I must have lucked out and picked up the set with the rings I needed. Mine mounted up just fine.
