Wizen one question for ya buddy, Are you counting a full turn as 180 degrees?? You should be counting it at about 360 degrees one full revolution. Sounds to me like your engine would be running waaayyyy too rich to even start honestly. Set it back to stock by screwing it all the way in than using the three sixty revolutions count three turns and try from there. Once broken in it will probably only vary about a half turn for good temps. Leaning it out that is. Later

Because most would find it hard to believe that a mill is set sooooo rich from the factory. Although HPI has a record for doing this.

Set it to 5 turns and see what you get. I think you are going to end up somehwere around 3 3/4 to 5 on the LSN.

I dont know if this will help or not but i thought i had the same problem. It felt like the LSN would freakin turn in forever. If you hold the carb shut with your finger and turn it in till you feel a little pressure the slide will feel like it want to start pushing itself open. Stop there and then turn the LSN out and it shoud be flush at about 3 1/2 turns or so .

Good point Maverick. I completely overlooked the barrel. I wonder if that is what he is doing.

And I'm with you on that 3 1/2 ;)

When i count my turns i only count 360 degree revolution as 1 turn..why poeple get all confused?

I turned the LSN all the in again and counted 7 full 360 degree revolution and it brought it back to the flush withe carb body position...

Wizen the reason I brought it up is because this was something that was very unclear for me when I first got started in teh hobby. If you don't have this straight in your head as a newbie it may be kind of bad. Honestly at seven turns out from where I understand seven turns to be your engine should be getting way too much fuel to even run. Late

Your LSN looks almost exactly like where mine is.

Not to confuse you, but I just switched fuels this week and I made the change in fuels one day while bashing when my old fuel ran out.

I had to lean my engine quite a bit after I fired it up with the new fuel(Odonells). The only variable that day was the fuel change.

Outside temperature was the same. Nitro content was the same, just different brand.

Point being several outside variables affect what your tuning will be. Outdoor air temp, humidity, air filter, type of tuned pipe; just for examples.

Everyone's tuning settings will be different for the most part.

Here's a good link.

Ya know no one was questioning your intelligence here man you shouldn't take it that way. Actually if you would read posts I did reply and so did others. If you keep posting responses as to what you last posted good luck in getting help on this board. I know I don't want to help with an attitude like that.
