alright, i am bought a new motor, so i am trying to get the gear and clutch off from the shaft, but i dont want to strip the phillips screw, whats the easiest way to do that? and i cannot get the carburator off either...any help would be great

for the carb, you should just be able to lossen the screw that clamps the block to the carb nexk and pull it out, It's right behind the carb.

are you talkin about the allen head screw? or the flathead screw? cus i cannot get it to come out...

Put some heat on it. After you loosen the carb pinch bolt, snug it back up and lightly tap the head of the bolt. It will help free up the cams that are holding the carb neck.
Just be super careful with the screw in the crankshaft. Some small vice-grips or channel locks will bite the screw better than a screwdriver. After you get it out throw it away and buy a 3mm bolt for it so you don't have this problem again.
