need new diffs!!!!!

u know what pisses me off?? when it is snowing out side, u are having a blast and then ur dang diffs screw u over!!!!

i have came to a conclusion, my XTM 24.7 is way to big and has way too much power for the stock diffs. i am going to get new ones but dont know what to get. i was thinkin about the UE 7.5's but i am too poor right now(i will get those later on) but for now i need a good setup so my engine wont rip them apart.

what are u guys running?

I think if you're going to use the Supermaxx name you may as well step up and buy Supermaxx parts :mex:

I've probably got well over $1700 in my Supermaxx and I don't have all the parts either. These 7.5 diffs are it. Power to the ground all the time any time. the major differnce besides not having to worry about them is the significant improvement in handling.

I run a 22bell/65spur in mine which seems to be perfect for my Picco .26.

there is no substitue for the UE 7.5 Diffs. Don't waste your money on the other stuff. Just put every penny away until you can afford them. I got mine from www.hobbyshopnj.com They are only $243 now. I paid $285 for mine a few months ago. Now they offer an 8 spider gear with more contact surface so they're even stronger.

These things are so awesome that locally if you have them on an otherwise stock t-maxx, they make you compete in Supermaxx class because its such an un-fair advantage over everything else.

there are some guys here who run .21's and bigger in their cybermaxx, T-maxx conversion. I wonder what diffs they are running???

usually some aftermarket case with kimbro diffs and such. but I've seen my truck side by side with these kind of setups and my truck just dominates.......too bad I can't drive very well.

One only needs to see a Supermaxx in action and in no time flat they are either buying these diffs or saving to buy the diffs. My truck literally handles the turns with the likes of a high end 8th scale buggy. And the best part is, I don't ever worry about breaking a diff.

i'm not saying the supermaxx diffs aren't the best. Not everyone is going to drop that kind of cash on diffs. I was just hoping that someone could give Super some options. If after looking at the options, he decides to save for the UE 7.5 diffs, so be it, at least he will have made the best decision for him and his wallet.

That's a hell of a good price red rado, I saw that in one of your posts earlier. When mine go then I'll replace them with the 7.5's. Mine are Kippster cups with RRP gears in the stock housings. I managed to get them from a friend that owns the lhs.

I've seen them for as low as $49 each and you won't save a lot of money in the end by cutting corners. Either way you've got to spend the $$.

hey guys, just did a deal today with a guy from this site. he is selling me a full kippster diff with blue powerline casing for $100. i think that it is a good deal so i am going to do it.

red rado, i will be getting the UE 7.5 diffs here within the next 3 months or so. but for now i really want to run my truck and not have my diffs break on me so i got these ones. they will do me until i get to my supermaxx diffs.
