OK, that's a new one. I have never heard of a "header tank." What is that? I have heard of people putting a one way valve between the muffler and the fuel tank. Is that it?

AN easy solution to the self leaning nature of the fuel system (easier than adding a header tank) is to tune the engine with the fuel tank at half full.

Once you have found the engine's sweet spot at a half tank, the engine will run slightly rich on a full tank, just right through the half tank mark, and slightly lean on the bottom of the tank. This gives you the best of most worlds for zero cost.
