I have Savage .25 RTR and the suspension is way too stiff, when climbing uphill the front end just bounces up and the car flips backwards.
Can anyone tell me what the spring colours mean ? I have black spring and original oil.
Can someone also tell me what thickness the original oil is ?

A friend suggested Black and red spring combo and oil #20 !

Different color springs provide different rating of stiffness. The stock red springs will probably be the softest you can put on. I would try those.

Also, I believe the STOCK weight of oil was around 10 weight. Seems light to me, but I'm about to back my shocks down to about 20-25 weight. I dont want so much resistance from the oil, but on the other hand, I use STRONG 6lb springs to return them to ready alot faster.

Sounds like you want soft springs and light light oil.

I have a .21 with stock red springs. I took the spacers off the back shocks and added them to the front, i found that the stiffer the front end is the harder it is to roll or flip. Friend of mine has .25 so he set his up in a similar sort of way but with the black springs and it did seem to make it a lot less likely to roll in fast turns. Maybe its down to the sort of ground we are running on but it never hurts to experiment a little. Dont know anything about the different oils so can't help you there.

:hi:
I have a 21 i found that the red ones all round are to soft .
I am runing a combination of 4 black 4 red .One of each to a wheel and no spacers .I have not changed oil and it dose almost
every thing i ask of it .As long as it is not to silly.
