very common, as a matter of fact if you play with your maxx you will break somthing ! try to find a parts lot from f-bay.happy wrenching to you.

bulkheads,turnbuckles,a-arms and most important is spur gears.i went thru 10 myself.all those high reving engines will do a chop suey on gears

Proper gear mesh and a properly adjusted slipper works wonders for gear and drivetrain life. The suspension parts are cheap, so load up on 'em. The more ya rip it, the better you'll get at not breaking it, but you can never have enough spare parts.

metalhead is right on.spares the gear prob i had i did the paper test and many other things but they strip never once happened when i had the 2.5 the i went .21 and strippy strip like at titty bar.
