If you can get the Nitrostar with the 3 needle carb at $65 I would say jump on that deal!

ok update.... spent 3 hours tuning and got it running the best its ever ran, seems your needle's can gunk up? i took carb apart and cleaned everything put back toghter and went out side to tune it, got it running around 230ish with a screaming top end speed, but then ran it into the wheel of my explorer busting out the C-hub and sending the front right wheel 30 feet in the air, ordered aluminum replacments, when installed ill be puting it up for sale now that it is running good.. what should i ask? it is rtr with upgrades

Just a suggestion! Keep your truck! You'll never be able to get what you want out of it. So unless you are strapped or just want to give someone a good deal then I think you should just keep it for a back up. JMHO

Bear in mind that with HPI's engine exchange program you can swap any small block for any other small block (and big block for big). So if you wanted to put in a G3.0 you could get one via the exchange for your old .15. You'll need to pick up the HPI G3.0 motor mounts though to fit it to your MT. I just sent in 2 dead/dying Nitrostar .15 FE's and a dead G3.0 myself, will be getting 3 new G3.0's back.

well as you can guess with all my recent purchases I'm in no way's strapped for cash lol, ...I'm going to fully clean and restore and replace any worn parts on the hpi mt and give someone a good deal on it, I'm mean poop i got around $400 in it

well i will have to add up what i spent this month on it, and get back to you, it will have brand new suspension arms, c-hubs, spindels, body, it has a traxxas reciver on it since the other one died, but its cool has hpi radio.. do you want some pics?

the one right it has a new ready to be painted body, upgraded muffler and head, and all the new parts i just bought ill post more pics when its done
