I'll try to explain as best i can. I bought this used and thus inherited someones probs. There was way to much air coming in to the motor. After hours of troubleshooting, I removed the carb from the G3.0 engine. The part that slides into the crankcase was over tightened, had a small crack, and did not seal properly. Therefore too much air was getting in. I tried to make the piece round again, but made it worse. HPI discontinued the BODY of the carb, and i dont have the money to buy a new carb now. Can i make the circular piece out of aluminum and thread it into the carb? right now i cut off the bottom, so the carb can only be glued on. But i think i can make a piece to attach to the carb. I hope this was clear, also wanted to know if i can add a slide carb instead, and what i would need. Or if there is an aftermarket carb i could use. PLEASE HELP
