Hey Guys,

I went to test install my mill today and see if my linkages where the correct length. Well in doing so I found out that my throttle linkage would not work because the throttle link was on the other side of the mill. The motor is an OS .30 and the carb looks like it is pointing in the right direction. OS is facing out on the carb face? Did I complete my linkages wrong, or is the carb have to spin all the way around? If so how do you do it properly? Thanks

Tom

Can't you just loosen the carb and twist it around to meet your linkages? Slide arm can also be loosened as well.

Exactly what jon said, on all truggies/buggies you ahve to turn the carb around for it to work.

Ok... thanks. I thought that is what needed to happen, but I was not sure if I could just spin it around, or did I need to take it off completely. Sorry if it sounded like a dumb question. I just didn't want to damage the mill before I had a chance to burn some nitro! Thanks

Tom

If there isn't enough room to turn it, its not a big deal to take it off and turn it around.

while you got it off you may wanna seal it up good. better then having to do it twice.

Ok, so if you can actually take it off if you have too. Cool I was going to ask that, but you beat me to it. Thanks VB. Hey Beason, what do you mean about sealing it while I have the carb off? Thanks

Tom

the rubber seals on the carb are kinda small. some people use hi temp rtv and put a bit on the neck to seal it. that is a prime area for air leaks. i know you ve seen someone refer to "seal the carb and backplate" just an idea since you have it off already. what i do is put a small bead around the botom of the neck where the seal is. then put another at the top. press the carb in really good and tighten it up.
