Need Help Tire and Wheel choice

I'm looking to get new wheels and tires for my revo. What is the differece between 3.8 traxxas wheels and tires and 40 series wheel and tire? I really like the low profile of the revo stock tires but I'm looking for somehing that will handle well on street and dirt. Any Sug. or opn. would be greatly apreciated. i so far have looked at the trx respose tires and hurricane rims, proline bow tie tire. I want a low pro though?

i have maxx mulchers on my revo and love them. they have been awesome in the snow and on the frozen ground. haven't really used them on dry pavement or gravel yet but i am sure they will work great. and they make the revo look pretty sweet.

if your looking for low profiles then the boss kongs are not the way to go you should look for a pic of a revo with them. I think they have a whole box set that comes with 4 tires rims glue etc.

sorry they are not called boss kongs, they are Jumbo kongs and they are pretty sweet but not low profile, far from low profile here you go heres a pic

how do you like those tires? they seem to me that they would rob all the power and handleing. they make the truck look big but i don't think i could put those tires on mine.

ya those are way big, seems that it would make it unstable in turns.

What is the mager difference between the 40 series tire and rim and the 3.8 tire and rim that is on the stock revo?

yeah i was just messin around but I'm sure an O.S .18 could move it pretty good
