my ezstart yellow wire is grounded to the screw thats holds the engine to the engine mount but it doesn't light my glow any ideas where i should put it

The yellow is ground and supposed to be there. The one to the glow plug is usually blue. If you pull the plug to check it, the blue needs hooked to the plug and the side of the plug must touch the engine to ground it and complete the circuit.

Yes that's how it is but it won't complete the circuit . If iput it on the collin head it does work I don't know what's wrong

When I broke the cheap connector off of my yellow wire...I just stripped off some of the insulation and used one of the exhaust manifold screws to ground it. Worked for me until I smartened up and got a glow ignitor.

disconnect the blue wire from your glow plug and from the truck.
throw it out.
buy a glow plug igniter

its what i did and my ez start battery last a heck of a lot longer and it starts better than the day i bought it.
