Need help on MT-12 Engine

I just bought a used car and it stated it had an MT-12. I received it yesterday and looked at the engine and it says on the crankcase MR 12. My question is, does the mt12 use the mr12 crankcase or was I given the wrong info and this is an MR-12? Thanks.

I think the MR12 is a newer MT12.

I was doing some searchs on here about this and someone had stated that the MR-12 is for high speed,high rpm with a shorter shaft and the actual MT-12 is for high torque (short track). I'm also emailing the previous owner who I bought it from, thanks for the info.
