Hello, I'm new to the forum and Nitro cars. Me and my son bought a used Revo 3.3 with a HPI .26 engine. I know this might be a bit much starting out but I'm a bit of a gearhead so it doesn't really bother me. While tuning the Revo we ended up stripping the spur gear. It's running a metal 36T Integy spur gear with a 17T clutch bell. I found the problem was a bad bearing on the clutch bell but it looks as if there are other parts missing. I'm want to order a 40T spur and 15T CB from Robinson Racing for more torque, me and my son are mainly going to be "bashing".
My question is, can someone take a look at the pics and let me know what parts I'm missing (2nd pic) and what type of clutch I'm running (1st pic). There is some wear on the outside of the clutch, looks like the clutch bell was rubbing it. Thanks guys, be easy on me, I'm new to this.:D

Look like a basic 1/8 3 shoe clutch setup. The only thing I see that my be mlssing is a washer between the bearing and the blak spacer.
Also it may need to be properly shimmed in order t keep it from rubbing.

TaterX, we're basically neighbors, I live in Madison.

The clutch bell slid right off, it was floating up and down the shaft which is what wore out the spur gear. I need to know what parts to order and where to order them.

Thanks

So what keeps the clutch bell from sliding off the shaft? Right now I can pull the CB off without removing the screw on the end. Logically it seems something should be there to keep the CB from moving.

Let me see if I have this right, I have a 1/8th scale motor mounted on a 1/10th scale car? If so that's awesome!

Also, will this Spur gear and CB combo work?

I think because your outer bearing fell apart it lets it slip off. when you put new bearing on both sides and put it back together it should stay. The gearing combo i dont know. Never had a revo.

Yes if your bearing shredded it would cause the bell to come off past the bolt. There should be a thin washer in between bolt and bearing also. So if the wasn't one one ther or maybe left off then thats why bell comes off with bad bearing.

The 5x10x4 bearing is too small for the RRP clutch bell. It looks like it might need to be a 5x11x4, what do you guys think? The spur gear has the same size bearing that I will need for the new CB.
