Hey, am considering picking up a traxxas blast and slapping a velenion brushless system in it. Is this a good or bad idea? Would this motor get hurt with the RPM's and light load from pushing a boat instead of a car and such, and how would stability be with the boat. No guesses. Straight answers if you actually know about this stuff. If i wanted to hear a guess, i would guess for myself.

This much I know.

You will need to cool the motor and esc with some sort of water cooling setup.

I know Traxxas sells a water cooling setup that wraps a motor. I also know they have a marine EVX ESC that has a water cooled heat sink attached to it.

Without a way to cool the Velineon setup, I would not even try it.

Thanks. I decided to wait. I needed to have it ready for tomorrow and didnt have time to do a water setup in it tonight.
