I need a measurement of room I have, it sounds weird but I don't have a measuring tape and I'm not going to be home for 3 weeks and I wanna order it an have it home for when I get there

I want to get one of the ERCM end bleed pipes for the tmaxx

Does anyone k ow the length between the end of the header and the start of the rx box with a UE thunder chassis ?

I'm not home atm to measure but unless you are using an extreamly long header or overly large reciever box you should have plenty of room with the thunder chassis. You will also want an exhaust deflector on the end bleed but it too should fit.

I'm running an ERCM bb side bleed, on a thunder chassis, with a big center mounted mugen(?) batt/rx box, JL red dot engine, and hpi bb header...I still have a fair amount of room. I know it's a tad shorter pipe being side bleed and a different box but thought I'd throw it out there.

I can take some measurements chassis wise if that'll help you out. Also is there a particular reason you want end bleed opposed to side? If you use a rubber coupler style to connect the pipe/header you'll gain some wiggle room too.

Shoot me a PM with your email and I can send a few pics from my phone...it may give you a better idea of layout.

You reckon there's enough room for one of his bb end bleed pipes?

What part of the thunder chassis is extended vs the stock one? Betty would be between the engine mount and servo right

I'm pretty sure I could but I don't have a stock rx box.

It seems as though the back of the chassis is where the length is on the Thunder...stock 3.3 rear shaft is way too short. However with the 3.3 trans I lost length in the front because that shaft was too long...could be the trans though as that chassis was designed around the black trans and old style brake.

I went with a very tight bend header but I think I had room for a normal bend behind the engine...going with a normal bb header may set the whole exhaust system towards the rear.

On a side note...the side bleed makes the same power and still insanely loud.

Ok his sight says the end bleed was a bit louder that's why I wanted that one

What are you running for an engine? Everything I own is loud...truck, bike, rc's. I'm not so sure I'd want mine any louder...a wot pass a close distance hurts my ears.

Any neighbors nearby will dislike it either way lol

Lol I'm thinking the louder the better!! I'm running a modded picco max JL red dot
