Here is my latest project for my Savage. As some of you may already know, I am changing careers and have been making little things for my nitro as part of the learning process. This is my first shot with the CNC. Really basic stuff but I am still enjoying every second of it.

Can you guess what it is?

what size is it we can't see what scale it is

and whats it used for can you tell us that

It is 2.415 in length, 1.082 height, and .433 inches wide. The two lower holes are threaded for 3mm screws and the upper hole is 4mm in diameter.

damn you thats gonna bug me. I know the savage inside and out up and down every way from tuesday. but i can't for the life of me figure out what the hell thats for... let me stare at it for a bit longer

OK I've got my savage here... its got to be something bulkhead area related....

Here's a hint, it replaces a stock part that is thin and works with a Savage that has a RCS cage, though I could make one to work with a non-RCS cage equipped Savage.

hmmmmm... when i put my cage on I added aluminum bulkhead braces... but i dont think that is it.... damn I'm still thinken....

you gotta spill the beans!!!!!!! I'm stumped i have no idea what it is or where it goes.

It converts something that was springy and makes it solid.

something to do with the mounting of the bumper... it doesn't seem to fiit there unless there is another part to it.????

It fits on its own, no other part needed. It also weighs about twice as much as the stock pieces.

i realy have no idea SD? I'm running myself up the wall to find out what it is and where it goes though...

OOOOH It is the purple thingy..where the hinge pins go through on the bulkheads both F/R!

ok the answer is coming soon, need to take a picture.....

i can't think of anythign thin and springy on the truck... besides the springs... hell if i know. lol

the only other thing i can come up with is a steering corss bar... but that has nothign to do with teh cage.
