He brought it to the house so we could do the break-in being this is his first nitro.

Break in went very well and it fired up from just a tap on the roto start.

It's starting to pull wheelies now.

Yea I would like to see some pics of the race car in the background. What kind of car is it??

I love the ice beast. Had a few while we was breaking in the beast......LOL

The car in the back is a Winston Cup speedway car that was driven by Robby.

I'll get some more racing pics up. Got some good ones from my "tour of duty" last year in Hooters Pro-Cup also.

El Pirata....I think we would get along just fine.

Here's me working on front end geometry for the Pro Cup car during the pre-season prep.

Mike who?

I was the tire specialist and front tire changer on a Northern car in '02. We ran the full season and finished 5th in the Northern points.

I am assuming these pics will include some wing slinging hooter girls??....damm I just made myself hungry for some wings...

Michael Strother. Southern series. We're not running this year. At least not a full schedule. He's helping Mark Whitaker this year and I'll help out at the local races.

Yup.......Lonestar Motorsports. I wasn't working for him then. Sorry

Was running an old heavy arse busch car then. Drop snout I think. It was a non-turning pos........LOL

Are you working with them this year? Kinda interesting with the new radial tire.

No funds like everyone else. Helping the driver out for one last year of LM's (he wants his 7th track championship at a place he won 110 races at, and his 11th overall) then it's onto full time sponsor hunting yet again. I hit the MB Pro Cup races and prolly going back to SoBo in a few weeks. I work on 3 cars at 3 different tracks with 3 different teams....

I was joking about the MB deal anyway. That place is a shithole with seashells mixed with the asphalt. Makes for fun about 100 laps in when some guys come in and others stay out. Most places drop 1-1.25 seconds on tires. Some guys when we were there dropped 2-2.5, people just run over one another and the turns have walls inside and out.

LOL....That was a classic. I showed your reply to my girlfriend and said it's a small world. We both ROTFL'ing.

Lack of funding is and has hurt alot of teams including us.

Let me know if you make it down to NC for any of the south series races.

I plan on doing Ace, Hickory, Concord and maybe MB. There's a couple others I might try to make.

Would REALLY like to go to Bristol. Pro Cups will be fast there. I'm betting the PC cars will be quicker than the Busch cars at Bristol.
