My Son

Well my son got deployed to Afghanistan...he left two days ago and he will be over there for atleast 1 year....I know he is not in the front lines but it still makes you worry....he is in Satellite Communications for the US ARMY...Tina and I will be wearing his dog tags until he is back state side....

I know, it sucks my friend....been there. Kandahar and Bagram/ Kabul. Things are not as bad as they were. All you can do is hope, pray and help keep everyone's spirits up. The next year he is going to be all about living for his family there....all of his new brothers and sisters. When you are there that is the best thing you have going. Lets bring him back home safe.

I'll keep him in my prayers. I was deployed to the Middle East during the original Gulf War. I understand what he'll be going through and can suggest that regular letters and packages will help.
