my smaxx along the way

Ok so I got a smaxx a while back inna trade for a mini t here's when I got it

After some bashin for about a month I added some lights to it for fun and some rpm a arms body was destroyed lol sorry phone pics a lil blurry these lights are gel coated leds tho and after many crashes and nose dive into a 8ft deep concrete ditch they still work perfect so I love em lol

I did some adjustments to ride height right before the new body was done and got pics to compare the look here's one just u can see how bad that body got lol

I actually found a local guy who does action figures for a living and wanted to get into paintin rc bodies so he did this guy for free for me under condition If it looked bad it is what it is which didn't bother me as u see what happened to last one I didn't like lol

Side view (greens a lil darker but my flourescent lights throw it off)

And the front its blue and purple and white metallic paint I told the guy have fun do what he wanted since it was free lol not too bad for free I think

And then I stripped and cleaned everything and stripped the purple off the wheels as it was flaking horribly and redid em green to match not a great job but the wheels are about to go so it was done as a quick and easy but is holding up well

And that's it sorry for the long post but that's the journey in my hands I'm gonna replace the bumpers just put 3.3 in it and pulled lights off and add rear rpm a arms I got Sunday to it then it'll be the girlfriends to bash so I can run the savage so what do u guys think? Oh and a pic with the jato I just got before I cleaned the jato up (hopefully it'll b gettin new wheels soon the ones on it SUCK I don't c why he took the stock anaconda wheels off but those street ones do nothin for it) but that's it

looks nice, i liek the color scheme some "tough" and "ruggrd "color choices. how manr LEDS across the front and underneath? and did you power them thru thr RX or just of a switch and additional battery?

Thanks everyone the 4x4 parts will get added no worries on that lol but I'm gettin the 6s packs for the savage first unless I can get the 4x4 parts cheap or the gf get em. as far as the leds I've got nine across the front and a 12 inch strip down each chassis brace but they kept gettin gummed up and the neighbors finally started complainin so I can't run it at night anymore (what do u mean the sounds horrible when ur tryin to sleep its music to MY ears lol) so I took em off but they were run with a exra batt and switch I mounted the colors I like except the purple lol but the airbrusher said he did it cuz I was givin it to the gf so I like how it came out especially cuz he provided paint n everything for free so
Also what do u guys do so the body clips don't pull thru the plastic in a crash I've been puttin washers on the posts n no issues but wonderin if there's anything else ud recommend thanks again guys!

Try using some foam body post washers I put some on the posts of my T-MAXX after punching holes through 3 bodies they seemed to work pretty good.

Cool ill pick some up and see if they work a lil better. The metal ones I'm usin work well, but they scratch the body a lil bit so lookin for a better alternative.
