So here are some pics of my savage, don't be hating on the body I'm not a truck guy and I've owned two supra's myself and just happened to have a shell kicking around. I will be re painting the body black to offset the purple.

Two neat things about this pic, the headlight will be functional once I require them, and the hood is removable to hide the pins under.

Hope you enjoy the pics and my savage. And yes there is a project car that the sparco seat will be going in and no it's not no Honda :p

Can we get some pics of that Supra?

I'm assuming u own a MK4?

Welcome to RCNT and nice truck btw.

I used to own 2 mk4 supra's but have sold them both so sadly that's not what the seat will be going in. I'd love to share my pics, here is one of my most recent supra. I had to sell this one due to massive front suspension damage totaling over 6300$ in parts alone.

And this was my first supra, the pic makes it look in great shape but it was far from it. It's clear coat on the other side was peeling and the hood and roof had lots of hail damage.

Thanks for the compliment on the truck, but again sadly now I am waitin on parts as I learnt a valuable lesson today. Loc-tite everything... I lost the pieces that hold my carb on and almost lost my steering servo screw on the bottom of the truck. Now I have to wait two weeks for the parts to show up. I was just starting to tune the engine too, and I'm impressed with this 4.6, and I have a feeling it's on it's last few tanks. so if I'm right I'm either going to get another 4.6 or upgrade to a novarossi.

Wow gorgeous. If u dont mind m askin were they both stock 2jz's? Is that a Blitz, TRD, Rod Millen wing on the red one? LOL sorry about all the questions man, Supra's are one of my favorite cars.

Yea dood u should deff scrap the k4.6 for an Italian made mill, I my self have a Picco and someday would like to try that Nova.

Thanks man and no worries ask away. The red supra had a Trd wing, rare stillen side skirts, carbon fiber rmm front lip, USDM turn signals, Greddy trans cooler, hks speed cut defender, eibach lowering springs, cusco carbon fiber strut bar, hks intake, 8mm spark plug wires, hks dragger 2 exhaust, shift kit, hks ground kit, Greddy oil catch can, and more I'm forgetting. Both were na but were turboed while I had them. When sold I reverted them back to na.

And yea I'm really considering the nova. One question though how long do nitro engines last if broke in properly? Months, year, years?

Nice man sounds like a solid car and thx for answering my question.

They last anywhere from 10+ gallons. Some people say that u need to replace to bearing and rod after 3-4 gallons and they'll last even longer but I think it really comes down to how hard u push the engine and how u tune it of course. RTR engines are usually last close to 10 gallons if their lucky lol. Engines like Picco's and Nova's are built with higher quality enternals like billet pistion, harder crank and Swiss made bearings. I saw in the Picco Boost thread on another forum this guy who only races in the truggy class has 13 gallons on his Picco Boost 5tr, not sure if it was rebuild to get to the 13 gallon mark tho.

The general consensus is RTR engines are ok and easy to tune but they don't last as long and are nowhere near as power full as the aftermarket engine out there, u can even have ur engine modded (ported and re timmed) for some serious power! It's nutz bro check'em out on YouTube.

I will definetly have to do that thanks for the info. Sorry this I my first nitro I used to do electric before it really took off haha. Or maybe I never really noticed the amount of people who did it haha.

That's a little worry some about the engines though cause I have put 2 gal through it today alone...
