Wow, what all did you do to the car. I'm seeing a lot of things i've never seen on a savage before.

well the engine and tranny are droped in the frames .5", and then its extended .15". I did the mid tank mod and put my throttle servo in the previous tank location. I put the steering servo upside down in the preious throttle location, and the tank in the radio box. Made towers with 24 point adjustability and I am decideing on LST shocks or Ofna 9.5's.

Holy crap those are the beefiest towers I have seen!! The tank relocation is really cool. Is that a JP2 pipe? Great looking ride there!

Jon

its the tsias pro tuned hard annodized. yea I can flex the towers if I try. they are unbreakable

Did you make your own turnbuckles to replace the top a-arms?

Nope thats all stock.

Yikes, that has got to be the sickest and cleanest Savage I have ever seen. :OMG: What are your TVPs made of? They look great. I also really like the way you chopped the bumpers. They look very clean.

You gotta do a write up on all your mods so we can copy. Outstanding Work!

Yea I have to give it a fianal tear down and build this week. I will start tomorrow I hope.

The TVPs, skid hinge pin braces are all CF.

Thanks I have a lot of time into this one...

I am waiting to find the NovaRossi 528XRP in stock at notrohouse.. untill then I am running a ported/polished mach 26.

here are a few extra pics..

Killer truck! You really did an outstanding job with your custom mods. I must say that those towers really look bad @#$. Welcome to the forum......

Sorry about the pic sizes...

Thanks guys. I will be trying out my first race soon. I guess they are opening a track in the south bay. I am gonna give it a shot. I havent raced since my gold chassis RC10.. who all had one of those?

Skip, I see that you reduced the weight of your savage considerably! I know that in racing onroads (electric and nitro) there is a weight and chassis clearance minimum. What are they for monster trucks if there are any? Just curious. Otherwise, GREAT TRUCK! Let us know how she handles.

good question Diver.. I have no clue..lol I just wanna go have fun.. I hope there is no hieght minimum. I have her sitting pretty low. I am thinking I want to run my new threaded LST shocks... Looks heavy. might be to much.. Turns heads though, and if it handles I'll keep it.

What shocks did you have prior to mounting the LST shocks? How did they compare to the stock ones? Where did you buy the LST shocks? Have you run your truck since install?
Your truck looks very nice!

no minimums as of yet. they dont reall do a height minumum for offroad and i dont think weight either onyl engine and tank size and other stuff :D mostly in buggy and stadium truck though mt doesn't have roar rules yet

The shocks he had before looked like the ue supermaxx shocks. I know unless you go real big into racing(or very technical), or from what i have seen, the mt class is almost like an outlaw class. I.E there arnt too many rules. :)

P.S I would call the track just to double check!
