RC Driving Style
All right when I start to warm it up it goes fine but then it keeps gettin hotter and hotter and the engine sounds like its gonna die but just keeps running untill it gets like 300 degrees! Anyway before all of this happened the lsn and msn were moving together so when i moved one the other moved but i fixed that problem and ever since its been runnin HOT!!!!!!!!!

Any help or hints or thoughts anything would be great, thanks i just wanna get riding likes i used to.

And also throughout all of my running time i have to keep on richening to keep it running normal so its not because it is to lean.
 
First off, when you fixed your MSN and LSN you actually broke it. They are supposed to move in concert. One drives the other.

Second, you might be seeing the results of your repair...or you just might be set too lean on the HSN. Either way, check your needle settings.

You may also want to take the carb apart and check to make sure all needles are in working order. If the gaskets/o-rings for the needles get worn, the needle can work itself loose and any vibration (ie the engine running) can cause the needle to lose its setting and wander.
 
All right could it be anything else like the primer being broke and air coming in the tank and making it lean?

Anyway I'm going to go try and do what you said thanks!
 
That is also a possibility; however, air leaks tend to manifest themselves in a fashion that won't allow the engine to run long enough to break 300 degrees.
 
Id suggest getting a O.S. carb since you already broke the stocker. It will fix your problems and it will also help your engine run way better and hold a tune way better.
 
O.S card which one you gotta link to one that would work with it?

Sorry about the repeat and a speady reply would be nice with a link to see what i would be getting cuz i dont really wanna get another one of those stock carbs and it just mess up again :angry: I want one that is very reliable like the O.S hopefully if i could get a link or anything thanks.
