My Savage finally works

Allright...after like a year or so i decided it was time to make my savage work. I faced too much problems in the beginning, so i was very disappointed in the savage (and rc in common). But a week ago i ordered every part i needed ( and some of them twice for spares) and after a day or two tinkering and wrenching later i was running my truck.
FINALLY!!! It didn't broke down, i didn't lose parts and my batteries were fully charged, so i had a blast.

Yeah, i'm back into rc and i won't get out for a looooong time.
Just wanted you guys to know...

Happy to hear you have your truck up and running. Just out of curiosity, did you purchase your truck new or used?

I bought the truck new, but i am a n00b so everything went wrong . Well i had to adjust the needle settings, the brakes (wich i had to buy new anyway), the throttle didn't work properly, the pullstarter broke, my one way bearing slipped, my slipperclutch was broken, my wheelnuts were worn, i had to buy aluminum main chassis mounts, an new clutch and clutchbell and i think that was about it.

by the way, i bought the ss kit with the s-25 motor, jr xr3 am pistol trans and a hitec hs645 mg servo for steering.

JR -XR3? Are you sure? the XR 3 is an FM radio and the XR2 is an AM.

Then it's an xr2 . My mistake, but here in holland the jr xr2 is called "Graupner xr-3", dunno why that is.
