This is the body I will be running at the HPI Challenge in Orlando at the end of the month. I think it came out pretty cool, it looks much better in person, it's really hard to see the shading in the pics. I would do a few things different if I were to do it again.

Wow between you and IB very nice.. How did you get the pin striping so clean??? and the dots?? Are they decals..And if so.
Were can I pick up some steady hands to do it!!!!

How do you have the time to make so many rockin lids? Great work!!

Wow thats really cool! I think ill try that on some parts of my buggy body if i can learn how to do it! i think it looks sick!

Looks good! Youll have to tell me how ya get the carbon fiber so clean. Whenever I do mine, it turns out fuzy. And yours is some of the cleanest I've seen. (If its painted) Nice lid!

The lines were done with one of Lesens favorite products, lol, Pactra 1/16 detail tape. The dots in the corners were all hand painted. And for the carbon fiber, I cheated, its a decal. Thanks for the compliments guys.

Good job Joe. I like it. I was close to doing that to my GT-1 the other night as a matter of fact. But I didn't have any pinstriping tape and didn't feel like taking all that time. Perhaps my next one. Love that look.

nice lid

if i had done it i would have drawn the lines with permanent marker and painted over it
Does that work? I was gonna do that with my brothers lightning body, but he decided that he wanted the base paint to be black... I had the lines drawn already too... I'm gonna try that when i get a new body.

I like it, Nice detail. I really need how to mask better.
