Diggin' the RPM parts :) great lookin maxx. My maxx is similar to yours, but i've got the blue colo scheme goin on.

It is very...purple.

Looks good, and I'm betting it handles great. The wide suspension is a nice thing to have.

I was thinking the same thing, I bet OQ is getting jealous.

I'm sorry that wasn't right. Looks good, enjoy the extra handling and strength.

Very bright. I had to adjust my settings on my monitor. hehe. With all of that color it reminds me of the Smurfs. Any one remember that?

yeah, but smurfs were blue.

purple is a girls color! you should of done black.

even if it is purple, its better than mine:shrug:

Thanks.

It does handle nice. I can't roll it over in a parking lot any more, and the 5.5 lB springs soak up bumps nicely.

Yes, it is a stock chassis with the anodizing stripped. That leads me into another thought...

I am secure enough as a man to admit I like purple. I think it looks great on R/Cs. So many people have gone with the blue theme so I had to break from the norm. I'm realy trying to go for a purple / silver color scheme. I may someday add polished aluminum shock towers and axle carriers, but the stock parts are holding up well.

I need to get a new body for it, but I can't decide. I like the Dodge Ram bodies that are out but I'm worried that the extended cabs will interfere with glow-plug access and cooling.
Someone here did a Savage body for their Maxx and it looked sweet. Any suggestions?

zoomer you use EZ off oven cleaner. The purple on your maxx darth racer is actually pretty cool, not to much purple, just enough. I've stripped my chassis also, i've got a Blue, Black, Silver color scheme goin on.

I used lye to get mine off. I made a mistake in the kind of easy-off I bought. The lye did the trick!!!

You color scheme sounds nice. Post some pics!!

Word-up on the not-over-done purple. That is exactly what I tried to do.

Here's a pic of my T-maxx (as you can see it's not quite done) She's goin through some changes  . I put up a thread with some more pics.
