If you guys have any questions or want to know anything on it just holla at me....

hey, nice truck i saw it over in the traxxas forum but never got around to ask you... did you repaint the side of your bumper where you cut it? looks nice man!

Nice truck. How do you like the close ration gears ?

Loser, yeah I repainted the bumpers after I cut them down...I didnt like the looks of the silver center with the black ends on the cut bumpers....
Remy, I really havent got to run it much since I put the new close ratio gears in it..I ran like 2 tanks on the street the other night but I was retuning my OS engine and didnt play with it much...I know it gets to 2nd gear ALOT faster now with the close ratios in it...Our local track is really tight so it should work out pretty good...Plus I put a new Trinity Pipe on the OS 18tm and the bottom end on it is insane now...

can we see some shots with the body off???

cheers G unit

Yeah I'll try to get some pics later on this week with the body off after I get some more parts in a re-do a few things...I was running the Xtreme Carbon Fiber battery tray but I took it off the other nightm I never could find a way to mount my receiver that I was happy with so I put the stock box back on for now....But I ordered a RPM RC10 receiver box the other night so when it comes in I'm gonna mount it and ditch the stock box again and go back with my carbon fiber battery tray...Plus I'm switching from the MS filter setup to a 1/8th scale buggy filter.
Oh and I added a Mugen MBX5 wingstay & a Proline wing the other day too, here's an updated pic of it with the wing on it...And I sprayed up another Proline GMC Sierra LP body the other night for it..all yellow with some black on it....After I cut it all out I'll take some pics of the truck with the new body on it....

Here's a picture of it with the body off and the Mugen MBX5 tank installed. Gives you an idea of what it looks like now....

CVEC, pipe down about Traxxas unless you own a Revo. Jesus Criminy.

J-Daddy, does the Mugen wing just bolt right up? There was a member inquiring about a wing set up a few days ago. Looks like you have the answer. Please detail the add-on!

Lol, I'm jus messin, I've personally always Liked the revo....I really wouldn't mind having one instead of the savage (I wouldn't sell the savage and get a revo tho because they both need a good amount of money in them to be raceable and I've already put some money into the savage) I just like the the racer look it can have...and the uniqueness of it...

Ok, so enough from me for a while...

Then nothing meant by it. Savage is a great truck. Different ride from a Revo... but then Harley and Buell are two different animals and yet share same ideas. Great thing about choice; you always have one.

I hear you about the upgrades. Once you have race readied one, hard to justify another. I did this with a Thunder Tiger buggy and an OFNA Hyper PCR.

Looks great J !!! Now theres only one thing left to do......DRIVE IT. lol

Get over here and do backflip over my house. :)
Oh I forgot to tell you on the Traxxas forums I just ordered a digi videocam!!! Should be here next week.

No, the Mugen wing stay doesn't bolt directly up....It takes a little work to get it on there but not much. You have to drill 4 holes in the rear bulkhead to mount it...Get all your screws "3mm x 20" & washers & locknuts, and you'll need 2 spacers for the top 2 bolts to space the wing stay away from the bulkhead so it sets level..About 4mm thick spacers are what you need, I used 2 of the red aluminum spacers that come with Traxxas red aluminum pushrods and they worked great.
The Mugen stay is sold as a rock on my truck, it's took some hard landings on it's lid and it's fine. It's a great addition to the truck for protection & I think they look good on there with the right kinda body. The actual wing is a Proline wing, everyone said they are the strongest wings so thats why I went with one.

Jato "Duct Tape" Fever, thanks man.....Trust me it's not my doing that I havent been to the track yet...Wish I could go every day but the wife aint up for that at the moment....Yeah I'll be right over to jump your house, why dont u come over & bring the ramp, you can jump my house, land in the pond in the back then have the Jato eaten by a Gator in my back yard.
