When I try to start my revo the engine wont turn over, is that potentially the one way bearing?

could be..check and make sure on the one way bearing that the text is facing you ...

i had the same problem...you spin the starter, and the motor doesn't turn over, the owb is the common problem

I took it into my local shop and the owner told me to try cleaning it out, then he did it for me. It worked for two starts then stopped again, do you think its just too old and i should get a new one?

I had the same problem in my Savage. Cleaned the one way bearing, started twice, did it again. I ordered a new one and it did the same thing, so I knew something else was going on. With the help of Rolex, I figured out that my new Savage had really high compression. I took the slow plug out and it turned over fine, so I knew it was the compression keeping it from turning over. I cracked (loosened, not physically cracked) the glow plug enough for the motor to turn over and get it started. As soon as it started, I tightened the glow plug. After I did this a few times, the motor loosened up and I didn't have to do it anymore.

so it may not even be the bearing? I'll try that when I have some time hopefully its that simple.

More than likely you have some oil on the bearing. Spinning it under load will increase the chance that it will slip. That's the reason for loosening the glow plug till it starts. As soon as it starts, spin it back in with the igniter, then take it off and use the wrench.

Yeap get it screwed in as quick as you can, and then once you get the truck warmed up where it will idle, wipe off as much of the excess fuel splatter as you can. I spent the whole weekend cleaning parts with all kinds of cleaner and denatured alcohol because the fuel caused dirt and grime to stick to parts, then it got hot and sort of cokked onto the parts. I gotta stop here, Rolex is going to have nightmares about his truck getting dirty, but you get the drift.

Alright, well for the engine to turn over i had to take the glow plug out completely, not just a little. So I can't really start the car and screw in the glow plug at the same time.
