i bought a 2 speed tranny for my hpi rs4 mt every time i run it it eats up the teeth on the 52 tooth gear what do i need to do to fix this problem

uhm. ok.

it sounds to me like you running ur two speed offroad. if you do that it will chew up your gears. also check to make sure the mesh is good and hat you have it installed correctly.

Congrats my friend you just killed a kitten with your post.

rs43drifter - Just incase you don't know how to set the mesh use a piece of paper or a plastic bag (like the one parts come in) and mesh the gears together. Then rotate the gears to get the paper or plastic out. When you are done you should have a very very small amount of backlash.

ISNT THERE SOME STEEL GEARS THAT I CAN BUY IF ANYONE HAS A LINK TO WHERE I CAN GET THEM POST IT ON THE FORUM

THANX TYLER
