forgot to mention its a carpet knife 3.2R

Very nice joey. Those CRC foams are nice as well. You may also want to try the Parma tires on it. Not as much push and very good tire wear. sl0eg1n races the Carpet Knife 3.2R as well.

Some racers have incorporated the lcg pivot ball but in it's stock form, it's a killer as well. That front bumper has a tendency to droop and snag the carpet after a few hard hits. Personally, I run without it. You can get some large plastic washers and mount them under the front body posts to protect the corners of the chassis. A fellow racer of mine has taken an Xray foam bumper (the blue one) and shaved it down and made it fit. You may want to go that route as well.

Good luck with the car. Now all you have to do is make it out here and take it to the track with me. BTW, minimum ride height is 3mm. That can be adjusted with 1mm shims under the front steering blocks and the spacers (#1-4)that go in the rear aluminum pods. For gearing, just give me a call. I'll give you a good jump off point.

thanks for the info!!

i can't wait to run it

diver i got the S9602 on order and ill be throwing my novak GTX in the car also

That's a very good servo. Same as the one that I use. Regarding it's installation, it's up to you if you use the servo mounts or not. I recomend to just shoogoo it directly to the chassis. It's stronger, less chance to break/shift in a hit and gives a more aggressive setting for the ackerman.

Methods for mounting are all based on preference. At the track, you will see a pretty even method of mounting. sl0eg1n uses the servo mount, I glue directly to the chassis. Both methods work.

i gotta learn how to set-up this car.. lol the instructions sucked! lol

diver I'm me on aim if I'm on later.
